Van Leeuwen’s new holiday flavors are worth celebrating

Unsurprisingly, this ice cream has a very sweet flavor, almost like honey. We also found that the sticky bread bits are pretty obvious. We enjoyed these bits and found they added a nice texture to the dessert. It was smooth but also had a bit of chewiness and bite to it.

Among holiday flavors, the Caramel Sticky Bun variety has one of the simplest ingredient lists needed for ice cream and sticky bread bits, such as brown rice flour and unbleached wheat flour. It looks a lot like a set of ingredients required in a bakery. Plus, based on that, you’ll see that Van Leeuwen makes sure their flavors are authentically delicious. The ingredients also make this ice cream the most fragrant in the brand’s holiday line. A pint of Caramel Sticky Bun rings in at 310 calories per serving, 11 grams of saturated fat, 85 milligrams of cholesterol, 37 grams of carbs, and 29 grams of sugar in total.

While there aren’t many flavors similar to this one, Van Leeuwen does offer a vegan pumpkin and cinnamon option. Like the sticky pieces of bread in this holiday edition, it contains natural ingredients, such as pumpkin puree and other seasonal spices. However, while Caramel Sticky Bun delivers delicious chunks of dough in every bite, our latest entry, the Brown Sugar Chunk, does it even better.
