Quality Street selling a 2kg box for Christmas with over 200 chocolates

Quality Street fans are in for a treat this Christmas – with the makers of Nestlé launching a mega box of the family favorite.

Weighing in at 2kg, the huge selection of confectionery is more than three times the size of a typical 650g jar from Quality Street.

When the Manchester Evening News reviewed the contents, the box contained 203 chocolates, toffees and candies.

However, the number of each chocolate varies widely – so your approval will largely depend on individual taste.

Perhaps controversially, there was more coconut éclairs than anything else – 25 of them, followed by 24 orange creams.

There were 23 each of Strawberry Delight, Toffee Penny, and Toffee Finger, followed by 22 of fudge.

Fans of the green Milk Choc Block might be disappointed to learn that there were only 10, with 11 each of the Orange Chocolate Crunch and The Green Triangle, 12 of the popular The Purple Ones and 19 Caramel Swirls.

Here is the list in order

  • Coconut eclair 25
  • Orange Cream 24
  • Strawberry delight 23
  • Caramel Penny 23
  • Caramel Finger 23
  • Fondant 22
  • Caramel Tourbillon 19
  • Purple 12
  • The Green Triangle 11
  • Orange Chocolate Crunch 11
  • Milk chocolate block 10

The giant box currently sells for £ 15 at B&M and a bit more at Amazon.
