Credible desserts for moms – Manila Bulletin

Spend the day in the sweetest way with mom with these confections at S Maison

There is a saying by Tenneva Jordan that goes: “A mother is a person who, seeing that there are only four slices of pie for five people, quickly announces that she has never liked pie.” Our mothers are perhaps the sweetest and most selfless person in our lives. At the very least, this Mother’s Day, we should treat them like queens and take them on an unforgettable date that they deserve.

One idea to make today more special is to spend some quality time with mom at S Maison. Treat her like the Duchess of Bedford over afternoon tea, or perhaps like Marie Antoinette over the most sublime cakes on the Underground while watching the breathtaking sunset over Manila Bay .

If there aren’t enough pies for everyone, here are some other suggestions, from Filipino staples to several types of cheesecakes and other whipped cream and fresh fruit treats, all of which can be easily found in the luxury mall.
